Dedicated to the memory of Patrick Crowe

My husband and best friend Patrick Joseph Crowe sadly passed away on Tuesday the 24th of November 2020.

He was diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease in 2012. He was still able to work testing lightning protection but, as his job involved working at height, he was unable to continue and he reluctantly retired at the age of 67.

He was still quite active and decided to take up a new hobby - outdoor bowls. He greatly enjoyed playing several times a week and enjoyed the social side of it.  It also helped him with his balance and other symptoms.

Another great passion of Patrick’s was travelling. We started this when we met 22 years ago and since the Parkinson’s Disease diagnosis we have managed to visit the caribbean several times, as well as Cuba, Mexico and the USA. This year we were lucky enough to go on our dream holiday to Australia, Hong Kong and Singapore, before the Covid-19 pandemic started.

Unfortunately, Patrick’s condition started deteriorating in April this year, and he was admitted to hospital in May. He never came home again.

He was the love of my life and will always be in my heart. He will be missed by so many.
